Read on, sign up and make this short break a meaningful one for your family! Priority registration is given to persons with disabilities and caregivers.

Marquage Art Workshop by ArtSE

Marquage (pronounced “mah-cash”) is the art of literally making a mark in French. Workshop participants will learn how to sketch and paint a design on a leather product, turning it into a one-of-a-kind item that is truly unique to each individual.

Every pair of participants will receive two sets of Art Kits and materials in a tote bag. They will also be entitled to free marquarge art done by the ArtSE’s artists on two pre-loved items worth $120. Sign up here.

Based on the theme of big cats such as the tiger, lion and cheetah, create your very own digital art character with simple shapes, lines and colours using just PowerPoint! Juice Wellness Workshop by Juice Stories

Organised by Juice Stories, the workshop will introduce juicing to participants through the following:

  • understand the different types of juices through a taste test of two juice recipes (cold-pressed and blended juices).
  • learn about the suitable ingredients for juicing and the formula for creating a juice mix.
  • get hands-on experience to produce a juice based on prescribed recipe.

The workshop’s finale will be a team challenge to concoct a new juice recipe based on the ingredients available, design a poster for the bottle packaging and “sell” to the other teams. The team with the most votes will receive a prize. Sign up here.

Maker’s Experience: Habitat Edition by Playeum

Introduce your child to wildlife conservation and cultivate their love for animals!

Our young participants will explore the different types of habitats around the world, from rainforests to deserts and everything in between, to help their animal friends find suitable locations and build imaginary habitats for them!

Note: This is an adult workshop which will be relevant for parents /caregivers of children of all abilities. Child-minding with hands-on craft activity is available. Due to safe distancing measures, each participant is only allowed to bring along one child.
