A new extension dedicated to
Support Life After 18 & Future Care Planning
Enabling Village Extension
A new 4-storey building will be added to the existing Enabling Village, expanding services for persons with disabilities and their caregivers. Building on Enabling Village’s success as Singapore’s first inclusive community space — fostering inclusive employment and training models and social innovations — the extension will feature a future care planning resource centre and model apartments equipped with smart homes and assistive technologies, empowering persons with disabilities to develop independent living skills and families to plan for future care needs. It also includes new experiential spaces, including more retail and food options, and studios showcasing works by pan-disability artists and makers.
