Step into The Listening Skin, a tactile installation inspired by Mother Trees and the invisible networks that connect forests. Explore, touch, and contribute to a growing textile landscape of suspended trunks and root webs, where every gesture weaves new stories into a shared sensory experience.
Rooted in the metaphor of the Mother Tree and the invisible mycelium networks that support forest ecosystems, The Listening Skin is a tactile installation that transforms the cabana into a living, breathing environment of connection, care and co-creation. Inspired by how trees communicate and nourish one another beneath the soil, the work invites us to reflect on how unseen threads bind us as individuals and communities.
Suspended fabric trunks and sprawling root webs made of yarn, felt, and other soft materials form an evolving textile landscape. Visitors are invited to touch, feel, and contribute — weaving new lines, textures, and stories into the growing installation. Every gesture leaves a trace; every thread becomes part of a shared sensory memory.
