The Eyecare Village by Eyeviser is offering complimentary eye health screenings for persons with disabilities and special needs at the Enabling Lives Festival. Our examinations are tailored for comfort, creating a positive and stress-free experience.
Each screening includes a prescription check and a thorough assessment of the corneas, eyelids, retinas, and optic nerves to detect cataracts, glaucoma, and other eye conditions. Our optometrists take a patient-centred approach, building trust through clear communication and care.

Immersive Sight: An Eyecare Workshop
The Eyecare Village by Eyeviser presents an experiential eyecare workshop that combines eye health education with empathy-building. Participants engage in guided vision impairment simulations and interactive activities. These sessions are uniquely facilitated by visually impaired persons who share firsthand experiences of navigating daily life with vision challenges.
Through this immersive approach, participants gain practical knowledge about essential eyecare tips and learn to recognize warning signs of eye diseases. The workshop creates powerful moments of reflection that foster deeper understanding and empathy for persons with vision impairment.
This experience culminates in a meaningful call to action, encouraging participants to prioritize regular comprehensive eye examinations, adopt preventive practices, and become advocates for inclusive eyecare in their communities. By blending medical knowledge with human-centered design, The Eyecare Village empowers Singaporeans to take proactive charge of their ocular health while promoting greater accessibility and understanding for all.
