Zulkhairi
Zulkhairi draws inspiration from popular culture, architecture, and everyday objects, transforming familiar imagery into bold, eye-catching works that celebrate the beauty of the ordinary. Influenced by Pop Art, his style blends flat colours, simple forms, and precise lines to make art accessible and relatable. Beyond visual appeal, his works invite reflection on personal and emotional landscapes, bridging the gap between high art and daily life.
Emma Chan
Emma joined ARTDIS in 2022 through the Visual Art Foundation programme and later continued at the ceramic studio, where she has been attending both classes until 2025. She works mainly with ceramics and watercolour, with a focus on creating functional and playful objects such as ocarinas, chopsticks holders, and star-shaped shakers. Her inspiration often comes from online platforms like TikTok and her own curiosity to explore different forms, and enjoy making art that feels lighthearted.
Alongside her practice, Emma has contributed to ARTDIS and beyond. These include cyanotype workshop at Enabling Village, linoprint collaboration with children’s clothing brand, and conducting ceramic workshop with corporate visits. She also co-facilitated an ARTDIS Open Studio workshop in 2023. Emma enjoys these opportunities to meet people and share her skills.
