Playground
Description
Housing one of Enabling Village’s largest open areas, the Playground block is characterised by the large Banyan Tree that inhabits its centre, as well as a large open space called the Terrace. Located near the NEST and UOB Ability Hub, this block is home to various tenants such as ActiveSG Gym, Stroke Support Station, Mount Alvernia Outreach Medical and Dental Clinic, Ministry of Social and Family Development: Family Life Group Offices, as well as Kindle Garden Preschool by AWWA.
Features
Service Dogs Users
Enabling Village is a service dog-friendly establishment. All guide dogs or assistance dogs are welcome.
Hearing Aid Users
All event spaces are equipped with induction loops that transmit directly to hearing aids with T-Coils. Event spaces include the Grandstand at NEST block, Terrace at Playground block, Hall at UOB Ability Hub.
Braille Users
Lifts and stairways are also equipped with braille. Stay tuned for more developments in this area as we enhance the wayfinding experience at Enabling Village!
Wheelchair & PMD Users
All public areas of the village, including restrooms, are fully wheelchair-accessible. Elevators are available at multi-storey blocks. Motorised wheelchairs and personal mobility devices are welcomed on the village grounds.
