i’mable Collective introduced Makena Capital to Arkademie to produce beautifully hand-stitched leather book sleeves customised with Makena’s logo specially laser-etched onto the leather, as their conference gift for participants who attended their investor conference in May 2023.

Makena Capital Management is an investment management firm formed in 2005, providing investment expertise, scale, and investment access to its client base of multigenerational pools of capital, including endowments, foundations, family offices, pensions and sovereign wealth funds.

The investor conference is an annual event held in Menlo Park by Makena where international and US based investors gather to listen to current market views and portfolio updates.

Arkademie is a local enterprise that designs and creates a myriad of hand-made leather products through environmentally sustainable resources and processes. Advocating for inclusive and socially-responsible employment within its business community, Arkademie hires Singaporean artisans with autism who were trained to learn the art of leather crafting.
