Learn about the nature and experience of Deafblindness, support systems, and the Deafblind community.

The workshop will be conducted by Akiko Furada, Secretary General for the World Federation of the Deafblind, and Assistant Regional Development Officer for the Disabled People’s International Asia and Cooperation Committee Member of Japan Deafblind Association. Ms Furada travels actively around the world to raise awareness of Deafblindness in Asia and the Pacific, and she will share insights and experiences with VWOs as well as caregivers.
