The Reach & Match® Learning Kit is an award-winning tool developed based on research on children with sensory impairment and multiple disabilities to develop early literacy and communication & social skills through tactile strategies and play-based activities. It provides a comprehensive guide for users to apply 30+ activities and games which based on 7 learning outcomes.

The design has been well-received and widely adopted by Australia’s leading service providers and schools. It has achieved Good Design Award (Social Innovation), James Dyson Award and Red Dot award. It has also been
exhibited in United Nations Social Innovation Fair, Red Dot Design Museum and Design Museum of Barcelona (Exhibition: 99 solutions in the world).

Mandy Lau, the designer behind Reach & Match will share her research in early literacy, early intervention & inclusion, the user-centric design methodologies and the applications of Reach & Match. She will also demonstrate Reach & Match to help participants to understand its sensory and interactive features designed for children with multiple needs in class. Participants will have hands-on experience with Reach & Match.
