Here at the Enabling Village, we want to highlight individuals who lead independent, fulfilling lives even while adapting to disabilities, as well as the organisations that support them. One of the ways we do so is by featuring Instagram accounts that inspire us.
The first of our Featured Instagram is I AM ADAPTIVE ™, a US-based non-profit founded by adaptive athletes aiming to build a global community and raise awareness for the Adaptive Movement. We love their Instagram because of their visual stories of individuals who have adapted to their disabilities, and the unapologetic way they celebrate their individuality.
